An electric motor company in Burton, Michigan. Project Scope Wanting a design update and search engine optimization, this company wanted their website to regain lost ground. When this website was originally began in 2002, it appeared well in the search engines. It was not long before their site plummeted. By 2007, they were spending $1,000 a month on Google AdWords. They wanted organic optimization so they could wean themselves off the costly AdWords. Time Began in September 2007. Website completed October 2007. By December 2007, this company ranked well for “electric motors” and various other terms. |

Davison, Michigan A tax service business in Davison, Michigan now offering online tax services nationwide. Project Scope This client had an existing website that was not showing in the search engines. Also, they were dissatisfied with their original domain name. Associated with an online tax preparation service, this client wanted to become a portal to make money online with these services. We started from scratch and deployed an entirely new website with Web 2.0 features. This site is automatically updated with new information via RSS feeds. We also installed a blog for this client to add her own content. The search engine optimization for this website is extremely challenging as we are chasing the terms “online tax preparation” and the elusive “tax services.” Time Began in October 2007, finished November 2007. Already ranking well for the above terms in MSN. Sometimes Google. The site is new, so these rankings are more than we could expect. |
