This is the Beach Retreat of Gulf Shores, Alabama. The retreat can handle up to 170 people at a time. It has two commercial kitchens, many bunk rooms, condo, two pools and basketball and sand volleyball courts.
The owner needed a picture for marketing purposes. This picture was created using ground-level photography with a drone creating the lighting.
This property is located on Council Lane in Fort Morgan. The property is on the Bon Secour Bay which is part of Mobile Bay.

One of the most notable condominium complexes in Orange Beach, Alabama is the Turquoise Place. These pictures were taken (among others) to provide a local architectural firm with a photo so they can provide a sketch of a proposed parking structure.
We had the unique opportunity, once again, to work with Option3Media to create a video for Austal US who builds the Littoral Combat Ships (Close to shore). This video was created by 2 ground videographers and 1 drone pilot / videographer. The ship was launched in October 2018. It usually takes up to another year before it hits sea trials.
Drones used: Inspire 2 and Mavic Pro 2. We have a full range of drones so that we can get different angles, fly in confined spaces and tackle the high winds of the Gulf Coast.
Working in tandem with Option 3 Media, we took aerial photos of Saunders Yachtworks. This photo will be used in their advertising booklet and banners for various displays.
We are flying within a hundred yards of Jack Edwards Airport. This raises a few questions with people.

The picture was taken at night, in total darkness. Using a drone, we lit up portions of the bins to create reflective surfaces on the cylinders and walk. A bit of ambient lighting on the grass in front was added with a drone as well.
Using a drone after sunset requires additional FAA authorization. We have that authorization and the expertise to use a drone safely at night.
We worked with Option 3 Media in Orange Beach, Alabama. On this windy day, we were able to document the preparation of a new US Navy Ship. This is a Spearhead-class Expeditionary Fast Transport ship. It is designed for high speed transport in very shallow waters.
When we saw the catamaran hull, my first thought was, “We’ve GOT to drone that!” We did that successfully, multiple times and created this drone video.
The purpose of this video was to document its exit from the build complex to a barge. The barge is then lowered into the water to float the vessel which is floated for the first time and moved via tug-boats.
This home sits on Wolf Bay in Elberta, Alabama. We done this real estate drone videography for Exit Realty in Gulf Shores. We used an Inspire 2, Mavic Pro and ground video with DSLR video camera.
